At Core Wealth Management, the confidential nature of our relationship and the security of our clients’ data is of the utmost importance to us. Below is a list of important security protocols we follow to protect against cyber security risks.
- If a client wants to transfer funds into or out of any of their investment accounts, they must call our office and speak with someone. We will not take contribution or disbursement requests over email or voicemail.
- We will never send a request for funds via email. If a client needs wire instructions, we will only send them as a secure Citrix attachment and only after the instructions have been requested from us over the phone.
- Unless a client specifically requests a wire transaction to a third party, we do not have the ability nor will we ever request that a client send funds to a third party – funds can only be sent between accounts with the same name.
- We encourage prospects and clients to share information (tax returns, statements, paystubs, etc.) with Core Wealth Management by uploading documents to our secure portal that can be accessed through our website at www.core-wm.com. For assistance accessing the portal, please contact us as we are happy to assist.
